Julong dredger raises the bar at Lake Tai project

Julong designed a suction dredger and put it to work in China’s Lake Tai recently to serve the ecological balance and economic development of the neighboring areas.

According to the Julong team, the dredger has strong dredging capacity, long-distance drainage capacity, and low operation cost.

Also, it operates with a flow rate of up to 2,500 cubic meters per hour, a dredging depth of more than 14 meters, and a discharge distance of more than 2 kilometers.

“ The dredger adopts industry-leading technology, is equipped with an intelligent operating system, and is designed according to the concept of environmental protection, which enables it to minimize interference with the ecological environment and dredge the Lake Tai basin quickly and stably ,” the company said.

Lake Tai in Jiangsu Province is the third largest freshwater wonder in China. Its tranquil waters stretch over 2,250 square kilometers, supplying fresh water to the surrounding area and influencing the development of the surrounding economy.

Lake Tai dredging project has been a key focus of the Chinese government, and the Julong dredger was introduced into this program to actively dredge silt deposits, curb the water body’s eutrophication, regulate the surrounding areas’ ecological balance, and stimulate economic growth.
