FSUE “Rosmorport”, together with Novotrans Aktiv LLC, recently completed dredging operations at the seaport of Ust-Luga.
Dredging of the berths No. 1 and No. 2 comes as a part of the investment project for the construction of the Ust-Luga universal trading terminal.
According to the results of the work performed, a design seabed level of 17.5m was provided for the approach of design vessels for the transportation of bulk cargo of SN-120 type with a length of 260m, a width of 43m, a draught of 15m and a deadweight of 120 thousand tons.
The Ust-Luga universal trading terminal is a large-scale investment project of the Novotrans Group of Companies. The project provides for the creation of complexes for processing a wide range of bulk and general, as well as grain and food cargoes with a total volume of 24.26 million tons per year.
