Registration is still open for the USACE-ERDC/WEDA “ Innovations Towards Achieving More Sustainable Management of Dredged Material ” Short Course.
The course is part of the 2025 Midwest Chapter Meeting which will be held at the Westin Milwaukee hotel Tuesday, March 11th to Thursday, March 13th, 2025.
The USACE-ERDC/WEDA Short Course will discuss USACE’s declaration to achieve 70% beneficial use of all dredged materials by 2030 (aka, “70 by 30”).
It will help participants implement new USACE guidance to consider environmental benefits and efficiencies when comparing dredged sediment beneficial use placement options.
The course will present methods that can be used to assign values to environmental benefits resulting from beneficial use of dredged materials (BUDM).
