VOSTA LMG has recently delivered four electric-driven boosters (11kV) to its customer’s mine site.
According to VOSTA, these boosters – radio-controlled from the cutter suction dredger – maintain continuous pressure on the pipeline to transport the dredged soil miles away.
Also, the boosters can operate in manual or fully automatic mode.
“ These electric boosters are part of our client’s effort to reduce the carbon footprint of their operations ,” the company said.
In the spring, VOSTA LMG will commission these boosters in conjunction with the electrification of the mine plant.
